Pastor Keith

HPastor Keith Graham was born on December 7, 1958 in St. Louis Missouri to the parents of William and Betty Graham.  He has one brother, Ricki Graham. He received Christ as His Lord and Savior in 1981 at Joy Temple Church of God in Christ under the pastorate leadership of R. T. Iglehart.  He remained a member until the United Air Force transferred him 1982 to Osan, Korea.

After returning to San Antonio (1983) from a one-year tour in Korea, Pastor Keith and his family joined Macedonia Baptist Church.  He accepted his call to the ministry that same year and was licensed as a minister under the pastorate leadership of the late Roland Franklin.  In 1984 his family made a short stop at New Vision Christian Church to help Pastor Christopher Hunt to lay the foundation of this new church. 

In 1985 he was lead by the Spirit of God to move on to New Creation Christian Fellowship under the pastorate leadership of Bishop David M. Copeland and Pastor Claudette A. Copeland to assist them in starting their new ministry to the San Antonio area.  In 1990 I was licensed a minister and later ordained an Elder the same year along with Elder Eugene McNeil, thereby becoming the first ordained Elders at New Creation Christian Fellowship. 

After serving honorably twelve years in the United States Air Force the Spirit of God directed Pastor Keith to forsake his Air Force career and start a career in full-time ministry at New Creation Christian Fellowship.

He served as Youth Director at New Creation for two years before taking a full-time position as Senior Elder in 1993.  His responsibilities were Church Administrator, Secretary of the Advisory Board (highest Board of the Church), Senior leader to the Elder’s Council (highest Ecclesiastical Board of the church), Business Administrator, Counselor, Director of Ministries, and Senior member in charge in the absence of the Bishop and Pastor.

He was instrumental in starting New Creation’s School of the Servant, which focused on teaching laity and five-fold ministry gifts the “spirit of service.”

He has traveled around the country and parts of the world teaching the principles of Christian living, developing leaders, and delivering scripture-based workshops espousing the joys of the covenant marital relationship.

He graduated with honors from Logos Christian College with Bachelor’s degree in Theology. 

After serving 14 years honorably and faithfully at New Creation Christian Fellowship, the Spirit of God once again directed him to a career move.  This time it was the Pastorate of NOW WORD Christian Church – a vision the Lord had given him to start in the city of San Antonio.  Receiving the blessings of Bishop David M. Copeland, Pastor Claudette A. Copeland and the NCCF Family, He held his first service January 9, 2000 at Shirley Howsman Elementary School as the Pastor of NOW WORD Christian Church.  From the first service until now God has made NOW WORD Christian Church The Place of His Presence!

Pastor Keith is happily married (since 1983) - [the husband of one wife] - to the former Denetrice Medlock who is the love of his life and best friend.  They have three blessed children, Brandon, Brittnee and Bryson.

Pastor Keith has a strong sense of the destiny of God working in his life.  He loves God’s church and His people.  He wants everyone to come to maturity in Christ to understand and enjoy knowing God for themselves.
